Batting glove sizing generally follows hand circumference and length, not age. Check the size guide on each product page — sizing varies slightly between the Axe Armor and colorway lines.

Elbow guards protect against inside pitches and are commonly worn by hitters who crowd the plate or have been hit before. They're not required equipment in most leagues but are a common addition for younger players building confidence at the plate.

Both improve bat control by reducing slip in the hands. Grip tape wraps the handle directly and is the more common choice for youth and travel players. Pine tar is applied to an existing grip for extra tack in game conditions, particularly useful in humid weather.
