We build our bats to meet high performance and durability standards. While issues are rare, defects can happen — and we stand behind our products. Please only submit one claim at a time and allow for 5 business days to process the claim. 

BAT WARRANTY COVERS:

Most in-line Axe metal and composite bats come with a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase. This covers a one-time replacement if a manufacturing defect causes:

  • Severe denting
  • Cracking or breaking
  • End cap or component detachment

Other warranty terms:

  • Composite wood & training bats: 120-day warranty
  • Pro-Fit wood bats: 30-day warranty

The bat must be:

  • Purchased in the U.S.
  • Bought from an authorized Axe dealer
  • Used normally in games or practice
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

WHAT'S NOT COVERED:

  • Closeout models
  • Senior Softball bats
  • Avenge Pro Fastpitch
  • Wood bats (except Pro-Fit models)
  • “No pop” or performance complaints
  • Cosmetic issues (paint, graphics, grip)
  • Bats used below 60°F / 15°C
  • Bats used in commercial cages
  • Rolled, heat rolled, shaved, or altered bats
  • Bats purchased used or from unauthorized sellers
  • Products purchased outside the U.S.
  • Sliding Mitts, Elbow Guards, Hyperstick Plastic Sets
  • Any type of bat alteration (“bat doctoring”) voids the warranty.

Important notes:

  • Warranty covers replacement only — no refunds.
  • Customer will receive a Credit for the current value of the model they are claiming. 
  • Proof of purchase is required.
  • Axe reserves the right to deny claims if the product or policy is abused
  • Warranty Credits cannot be redeemed with other discounts.
  • Warranty Credits are not eligible for Pre-Orders.

Warranty FAQ

What information do I need to submit a warranty claim?

In addition to your contact information, and some general details about your bat (e.g., model, size), you’ll need to provide a valid proof of purchase from axebat.com or an authorized Axe Bat reseller.

How long does it take to process a warranty claim?

Our team does the best we can to approve, deny, or request additional information for each warranty claim within 2 business days. During times of high volume, it may take longer.

Can you expedite my warranty claim?

No. We process claims in the order that they are received. Do not submit multiple claims for the same bat. By sending us multiple forms of communication about your claim will result in longer processing times for everyone.

Who should I contact about my broken bat?

Please fill out the warranty form and one of our customer service agents will respond via email.

What does your 1-year warranty cover?

We offer a one-year, limited bat warranty, which covers a one-time replacement from date of purchase on certain in-line bats where a manufacturing defect resulted --through normal field use-- in severe denting, cracking, breaking, or detachment of end cap or components. The product must be purchased within the U.S. and must be from an authorized Axe Bat dealer. Closeout bat models, Senior Softball and wood bats (other than Pro-Fit models) are final-sale and not covered by any type of warranty. Claims of lack of "pop" or "dead bat" or diminished barrel performance over time are not covered under warranty. 

Do you offer any warranty on wood bats?

Certain products, like composite wood bats and training bats, carry a 120-day limited bat warranty. Our Pro-Fit wood models carry a 30-day limited bat warranty. Please check the warranty card on your bat for term information.

Are there bats not covered by a warranty?

Yes, in the cases below, we cannot cover or offer a warranty replacement.

  • Bats purchased as used
  • Bats purchased outside of the US
  • Bats purchased from unauthorized dealers
  • Senior Softball Bats
  • Wood bats (other than Pro-Fit and composite wood models)
  • Bats altered in any way
  • Certain sale/closeout models

Can I get a refund instead of a replacement?

No, we cannot offer refunds at all. As the manufacturer, we cover warranty bats from all authorized dealers so in many cases we will not have a way to provide a refund.

I’ve filled out the Warranty Return form. What happens now?

The link below will go into more detail but you should receive an email from our
warranty department within 2-3 business days. 

Your email will contain an Authorization (RA) form and an RA number. Print out the RA form and place it on the outside of the return package securely and send to the below address.

Do you provide shipping labels for warranty returns?

Yes, if we approve your warranty claim and require your bat for inspection, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label. In some cases we may not request your broken bat back.

Why do you need my broken bat back?

Our engineers utilize the broken bats to collect data, examine the break(s), and to help inform them of future improvements in our designs.

In some cases, we may not request a specific model to be returned.

Do you provide a box for shipping the bat back?

No. If you no longer have
the original packaging, we’d recommend a cardboard mailing tube. Most are strong enough to protect the bat without need of filler material (please no
packing peanuts).

How long does it take to receive my replacement bat?

Our goal is to process your claim within 2-3 business days. From there you will receive an axebat.com site credit in the form of a unique promo code to repurchase a bat in your category as soon as you'd like. Once you place your replacement order through axebat.com, it will be processed as a normal order and ship out to you.

In most cases, people will have a replacement bat in their hands within 7-10 days after the claim is approved.

Can I pay to expedite the shipping on my replacement order?

Yes, we usually offer expedited shipping options during checkout where you can pay to have the replacement order shipped more quickly.

Common options are UPS 3 day shipping which begins once the bat leaves our warehouse or the 2nd Day Air option. If you need extra assistance, please reach out to info@axebat.com and have your order # ready.

Can I replace my broken bat with a different model or size?

Yes. Once we approve your claim you will be notified via email with a unique promo code for the current value of the bat to put toward any model/size of bat in the category.

Example: A fastpitch bat has to be replaced with a fastpitch model.

Example: If you originally paid $299 for your bat and we have permanently reduced the price of that model to $199, then your code will have the value of $199.

My bat was lost, broken, or damaged during shipping. What can I do?

While we make every effort to protect your bat while it's still in the packaging, we cannot control what happens to it once it leaves our warehouse and cannot be held accountable for lost and damaged shipping.

That said, please reach out to us at info@axebat.com with your order # and tracking #. We will do our best to find a solution or additional replacement.

Why does my bat have a "Non-Warranty" stamp?

The sticker indicates the bat is a warranty replacement or does not come with a warranty. As such, it is non-returnable and not covered by an additional warranty under our terms.

When does my warranty start?

All our warranties start
from the date of purchase – not the day you received the bat, or first used it.

What does my warranty cover?

For applicable items our warranty covers denting, cracking, breaking, or the detachment of parts that occurs during normal field use due to a manufacturing defect. Lack of “pop” or diminished barrel (dead bat) performance is not covered.

Why was my claim rejected?

There are a number of reasons your claim might have been denied. For example, ourwarranty does not cover:

  • Bats that have been abused, altered, rolled, doctored, or mistreated in any way. 
  • Bats that have been used in a commercial batting cage.
  • Bats purchased used or from unauthorized resellers.
  • Bats used as team bats.
  • Certain wood or slowpitch bats
  • You already received your 1 time warranty replacement
  • Claim showed no defects or the claim was based on "dead bat"

(Note: Our product team inspects every bat returned under warranty and reserves the right to deny any claim based on the findings of that inspection.)

I feel like my bat lost it’s “pop” or is “dead”. Can I get a replacement?

Our barrels perform right out of the wrapper but performance can be compromised from a variety of things overtime. We do not cover “lack of pop” or “dead” bat claims under our warranty. No exceptions made.

I lost my receipt or my bat was a gift. Can I still submit a claim?

You must have the original receipt or proof of purchase from an authorized Axe Bat
reseller to submit a claim. If you purchased the bat on axebat.com, you can
contact our customer service team at info@axebat.com and request your receipt be re-sent to you.

If your bat was a gift please contact the provider for a gift receipt or if they purchased from axebat.com they can reach out to us for assistance.

Warranty Code Information

In order to best serve you, we are providing you a unique discount code that can be used 1 time, on 1 order, only on AxeBat.com. The value of the code is equal to the current price of your replacement on AxeBat.com. This acts as your singular warranty replacement, and it will expire 30 Days after we process your warranty.

Bats purchased using this discount code must be in the same “Category” as your original bat. (A warranty code for a USSSA bat can only be redeemed for other USSSA bats etc.) Bat(s) purchased with this code also do not qualify for our 30-Day Challenge and are not covered with additional warranty.

The code must be applied in 1 order and cannot be split into multiple orders over time so make sure to use the entire value of the code. Promo codes cannot be applied to bundle offers.

Where does my discount code work?

Your discount code can only work on Axebat.com. However, your promo code cannot be applied to bundles.

Can I split my discount into multiple orders?

No, the discount can only be applied to 1 order. Any value that is unused is voided and cannot be refunded.

Where do I put in my discount code?

Your discount code needs to be applied in the the cart prior to processing the final checkout. You can only apply 1 discount code per order so they cannot be combined.

How much is my discount code worth? 

The discount amount on your unique warranty promo code will be for the current value of the model you are putting your claim in for.

Example: If you purchased a bat in January for $299 and you submit a claim in November and the price of the bat has permanently been reduced to $199, then your code will have the $199 value.

Can I use my warranty discount code on anything? 

Your warranty discount code can be applied to repurchase a bat in the same category as the bat you submitted the claim for. In some cases you will not be able to use your discount code on newly launched models.

Example: Your warranty claim was for a Fastpitch bat so your warranty code will only work to make a purchase of any Fastpitch bat. You will not be able to apply it other categories. (Tee ball, USA bat, BBCOR, USSSA Baseball, Slowpitch, etc)

Does my replacement bat come with a new warranty?

No, you only qualify for 1 replacement bat and the replacement will not come with an additional warranty.

Will the Axe 30 Day Money Back Guarantee apply to my replacement bat?

No, our 30-Day money Back Guarantee will be voided on any warranty replacement bats.

When can I use my warranty code?

Your discount code will be active when you receive it and valid for 30 Days from the date we processed your warranty. It can be applied on 1 order only once.
