What is USA Baseball Certification?
The USA Baseball Certification (commonly called USABat) is the official performance standard used by many youth baseball organizations throughout the United States.
The certification was introduced in 2018 to create a bat performance standard that closely mirrors the performance of traditional wood bats while improving safety and maintaining competitive balance.
If your league requires a USA Baseball bat, every non-wood bat must display the official USA Baseball certification mark permanently on the barrel.

What Does the USA Baseball Stamp Look Like?
The certification mark appears permanently on the barrel and contains the USA Baseball logo. Temporary stickers do not count.

Can You Use a USSSA Bat in USA Baseball?

Yes. One-piece solid wood bats are generally legal without needing a USA Baseball stamp, while multi-piece and composite wood bats typically require USA Baseball certification.
